[Update] Notice regarding error caused by Windows Update released March 9, 2021

Regarding the recent errors that were reported from SATO printer users using Windows printer drivers and have been caused by the March 9 Windows security update, Microsoft has released updates to fix the issue.

Known issues that have been resolved:

1. Windows blue screen (BSOD) appears with error code: APC_INDEX_MISMATCH when attempting to print to certain printers.

2. Unexpected results occur when printing from certain apps or to certain printers, showing the blue screen with the APC_INDEX_MISMATCH code. Issues include missing or solid color graphics, misalignment/formatting issues or printing of blank pages/labels.
