SATO provides high-frequency (HF) and ultra high frequency (UHF) RFID consumables in the forms of labels, tags, tickets, wristbands & bonding label cards. They are specifically designed and manufactured to work seamlessly with SATO’s printers for further printing and encoding of variable information.

Other than producing the RFID consumables, SATO also has the capability to design the RFID antenna as well to best suit your requirements.

Produced with top quality materials to ensure optimum performance with our barcode printers. Choose either direct thermal or thermal transfer facestock and paper or film base material.

High performance adhesive

Labels are produced using high performance adhesive to ensure optimum application to suit customer's requirements. 4 main types of adhesive are permanent, removable, repositionable and freezer-grade.

Customized finishing techniques

Customise your label's finishing - you can die-cut into special shapes, customise the printing and rewinding directions. In addition, we have in-house designers to meet all your label design requirements.

Choice of passive & active tags

Choose from range of passive (powered by electromagnetic energy transmitted from RFID reader) and active (powered by battery) tags to meet your requirements.

Design your own RFID antenna

SATO has the capability to design and draw RFID antenna for inlay in our own factory.

Choice of consumable types/formats

Use RFID in different formats such as label, tag, ticket and wristband etc.

High-speed seamless printing with SATO printer

Our RFID labels work seamlessly at high speed with SATO printers for further printing and encoding.

Storage conditions: Store labels in cool and dark place Avoid hot, humid and abnormally dry conditions Keep away from chemicals Once opened, store unused labels in anti-static plastic bag Use products within one year from date of delivery for optimum performance

Warranty coverage: 1 year from delivery date for thermal transfer & direct thermal consumables (paper/film), unless otherwise agreed.

Protect RFID inlays and prevent malfunction:

DO NOT subject labels to pressure or impact.
DO NOT fold or bend labels.
DO NOT expose labels to electrostatic charges and discharges.

RFID performance:

RFID products contain sensitive semiconductor chips that may cause their read performance to vary substantially depending on the environment where they are used.
Field testing for RFID solutions is required in the customer's actual operating environment prior to implementation.
As RFID solutions are built based on field testing, any subsequent changes to tagging positions and other conditions may affect their intended performance.
