SATO Care Program is a yearly service agreement which allows customers to enjoy service for the specified duration for each and every SATO printer that they have purchased.

With the SATO Care Program, our technician will perform preventive maintenance so that we can prevent failures before they occur, especially with regard to wearable parts (like platen rollers). The number of preventive maintenance per year can be set depending upon your operational environment and requirement.
Generally speaking, these are the print head, platen, feed rollers, and cutter. Depending on the operational use and general maintenance before and after use, the lifespan of these parts can vary. For example, the rubber in the platen roller tends to wear quicker (just like a tire of a car runs at high speeds) when heavily used for printing.
We will of course take care of your printer. However, service contract holders will be given higher priority.. In the case of depot repairs, all repairs under contract will be done within five to ten working days. However, non-contracts depot repairs will be done within 14 working days – it will take longer to get your printer. Also, if you are under contract only the sender needs to pay for shipping, but for non-contract repairs the user will have to pay for all shipping.
Our comprehensive service agreement includes the price of the parts that are replaced, serviced for any service call and preventative maintenance during the contract period. Other manufacturers do not include the price of parts in their contracts and require you to pay them upon repair.
