Print labels from Linux and Mac OS X system easily to SATO printer
The SATO CUPS Driver was developed to allow users to print labels from Mac OS X, Linux and other platforms (i.e. ARM V7 and PPC64LE) to SATO printer.
Features
Keeps track of printer status
CUPS creates a queue to keep track of the current status of the printer
Automatic conversion of print jobs to printable format
Filters (which include printer drivers and port monitors) and backends are used to convert job files to a printable format and send that data to the printer itself
Multiple interface communication
Communicate with printers using LAN, USB, LPT and RS232 interface
